EV charger user interface
A client from Adriateh.hr asked me to design a user interface for their new electric vehicle charging stations - Stekerr. Stekerr is going to be the first Croatian Electric Vehicle (EV) fast charger developed within Adriateh’s R&D department.
Thanks to access control functionality, Stekerr prevents unauthorised use of the charging station via an interactive lockable interface which only allows the vehicle owner to interact. It is also equipped with an interactive touchscreen display which is very convenient for advertising and educational content. Stekerr is super easy and convenient to use: it allows different charging programmes, varying from free to priced and allowing different charging options, depending on the provider (single charging, parallel charging).
My primary job was to construct and define a clear and intuitive screen user interface and define flows in a way that allows enabling any of the many possible combinations, set via the admin panel. Several constraints made this a challenging yet a very fun project to work on.
NOTE: The complete design of the EV charging station prototype (seen in the picture below) was not done by me.
