Salford University Boat Club Advertising

My university's Rowing club asked me to design them some posters for their freshers week club promotion. They asked me to use the colours from the uniform (blue and gold) and had me put on quite a lot of information that I had to fit in. They only asked me for one design but unsure of which they'd prefer, I sent both, and they ended up using both. One was inspired by their uniform itself, and the other stood out with the simplicity and bright colours. They went up all the way across the university and in all of the Salford student accomodations.
One set of posters was to advertise the club in general to freshers, and the other set was to advertise a taster day the club was holding for anybody that wanted to join
I suggested to the club that they put a little bit of extra, yet cheap advertising in place, so that their new look would be ingrained into people's brains. So I designed them some stickers which they littered all over campus, and they were everywhere! Design wise they told me exactly what they wanted and I didn't have a lot of say in that, but I think the stickers ended up being quite successful, because a lot of students noticed them and related them to the posters.
