The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), EPA and the Biden Administration are pushing harder rules and regulations on automakers to bring fuel efficiency requirements up 10% or 49MPG for all new models. The promise to reduce consumer fuel costs shows a shining light by taking advantage of the rising fuel prices currently facing the nation. Superbowl 56 ads showcased a rollout of new manufactures electric vehicles. But what does this mean for car enthusiasts? The age of loud, fast, black smoke burning muscle cars is coming to a close.
