The Owl and the Chimpanzee is a poem by Jo Camacho that I created digital visuals for. Jo is a clinical therapist that wrote this poem for her patients to relate to. The poem is about the struggle of the mind and mental health issues, which I have represented throughout with symbolism and infographics.
I took an extra step and contacted Jo in hopes that she would respond back. She did and I set up an interview with her so I could gain more insight into the poem. She was very intrigued and wanted to see the final product. I’m very proud that she ended up posting it on her social media.
