This pattern was designed for retail application on licensed products for Virginia Tech University as part of an exclusive partnership with licensing and home goods company Logo Brands.


The pattern is made up of several symbols derived from the rich history and traditions of the university. It was intended for application on retail hard goods like drink ware, outdoor furniture and coolers.



Pattern Breakdown:

Hokie Tracks - The tracks of the school’s mascot, the turkey.

Hokie stone - the type of stone that much of the university is constructed from.

Burress Hall - An iconic building on campus.

1872 - The founding of the university. 

Key Play - A football tradition where fans jingle their car keys during a crucial play.

Class Ring - Virginia tech has a strong tradition of alumni class rings and is one of the few schools that redesigns their ring collection each year.

Skipper - Canon fired at Virginia Tech football games.
