This was a christmas gift for one very special person, and to make it I had to go far from my comfort zone and usual style. It was definitely worth it though :)

 

For several reasons this had to be a large painting (150 x 70 cm), so for the most time I worked exclusively with Photoshop's shapes. That way it was very easy to adjust every element and performance was great. In the final phase I rasterized and merged most of the shapes and painted over them. Then came the final trick - I moved all the animals to a separate document and printed them out ond self-adhesive paper. The actual painting was printed and framed as well. 

 

To finish the gift, she had to cut out the animals and stick them to the painting herself, wherever she wanted.
