Sound Effects
In this project you will see some interesting lies of sound effects I recorded inspired from The Beautiful Lies of Sound Design.
Recorded Sounds
(i) Running Horse
This is one of the amazing sound effect of all. I used to make this sound when I was in high school I put my head on the desk and tapping fingers one by one (last to first without using thumb) and try to do slowly first and then catch the rhythm and you will hear a sound of running horse.
(ii) Heart Beat
I think most of the people know how to make this sound but it might be challenging for some. To try this sound first close your mouth try keep your throat relax and put some strength on your throat and try to speak without opening your mouth(it's like taking pause for more time while lifting weights)
(iii) Clock Ticking
This sound effect is very easy to make and I like to do when I was thinking or while writing something. To try this take a pen and hit slowly and steadily on any hard surface while taking some pause after each hit.
(iv) Wood Saw
This one is literally time taking for I was thinking for few minutes for a different sound asking my roommate for some help and getting denied because this project is very interesting and he do not want to interfere in it. Though after making some unusual sounds I tried to scratch my nails on wall and it sounded weirdly I did couple of times, thinking what sound is it? Then finally I created a sound effect of a Wood Saw.
(v) Computer Mouse
The prompt used for this sound is same I used for clock ticking a pen but this time it's a cap of a pen. I created this sound by opening and closing a cap slowly because sound of mouse is very thin and light.
