Harvesters are used to cut the trees in controlled location. Harvesters can have tires or can have skidders. They use to cut the trees from the desired location with the help of the cutting heads on front of the harvester. Harvesters with skidders are better than the skidders with tires on the sloppy surfaces. Harvesters also helps converts the trees into logs.
