July 22, 2012: It declared one of the largest fires in the Empordà and Catalonia (Spain). More than 13,000 acres burned. Pine, oaks, farmland, farms, livestock and forest turned into ashes. For six months I did track the resurgence of life after death. Green on black is the witness.
