Lowe's House of Curators presents a new way to explore style and décor within our stores. Our motion graphics campaign, "The House That Curators Built," showcases the transformative power of this initiative and the endless possibilities it provides.

We start with a simple, nondescript house, much like the shapes found in Lowe's Brand Guidelines and Value Tags in stores. Through the use of on-screen graphics, we introduce the Lowe's House of Curators and its purpose. We then feature three curators, starting with Iris Apfel and her Palm Beach Curation. Still, photography highlights her unique style, and we showcase the Lowe's products that support her theme.

The Lowe's Curators

As the transformation unfolds, the house on our center screen comes to life. Digitally, we bring forth the products featured by Ms. Apfel to turn the home into a Palm-Beach-inspired oasis. Color hits the walls, wallpaper is applied, and objects come into the scene. Once complete, the finished product is revealed before the slate is wiped clean, ready for the next transformation.

This process repeats twice more, showcasing the styles of Hannah Bronfman and Milo Ventimiglia. Each transformation is unique and highlights the possibilities that Lowe's House of Curators provides for customers looking to transform their homes.

Frame-By-Frame

Animation

To breathe more life into the piece, we animated the three little animals frame by frame as they appeared in the scenes. This involved a few rough passes before refining the animation and integrating it into the final video.
