I was asked by LA based Moo Studios to develop a few poster concepts for a Sci-Fi thriller, Renner.
“Renner” is a thriller/horror movie about a computer genius who creates a revolutionary artificial intelligence. When a seductive neighbour threaten his success, he is forced to choose between her and the self-aware A.I., which triggers a psychotic break in him”.
I created the glitch effect by using Java Script to distort the metadata of the original image instead of using Photoshop. I felt that this way the effect is much more true to the 80's static glitch texture.
