Event identity for Konnichiwa Zhongshan, a Japanese festival by @jf_kualalumpur and @thezhongshanbuilding . The Dango—Japanese traditional rice balls rich in various flavors and textures symbolize each fun and unique event that happened during the event.
We custom craft the logotype inspired by the shape of the Japanese Dango 🍡 . The slanted logotype injects fun and upbeat personality into the festival. The key visual pay homage to the Japanese city pop album art and the color palette of overall branding are the combination of iconic Japanese colors and colorful tiles of the Zhongshan building.

We developed the graphic assets and festival guide for Konnichiwa Zhongshan, each graphic represents tenants/stations that organize events, and subsequently, all are adapted to become their own event posters. The design elements are an extension of the key visual—dango shape.
