Maison Dufaing corporate book

“Maison Dufaing” is a 19th-century mansion inspired by the architecture of the Medieval Times. The “Dufaing" family used it as their summer residence during the last century. It has been abandoned and forgotten later on. Then, in the 21st century, the municipal administration of Walferdange had the house restored and published this book as a tribute to the cultural heritage of the town. It is now an art gallery, used for exhibitions, and it serves as a venue for wedding receptions. The book was published for the official re-opening of the house to the public and it contains architectural photography as well as information about the history of the family and the restoration process. The prominent gothic windows have been used as a main graphic feature in the book. Superwhite, crisp Gmund paper envelops the book cover and the case, making it an elegant wedding gift. Furthermore, the municipal administration is using it as a corporate book.
