“Color of the thick lines!” is a coloring page project completed as part of an assignment in my Illustrator class at Minneapolis College. Tasked with creating a coloring page based on a person who inspired us, I chose graphic designer Aaron Draplin. His use of big, thick lines and his big personality are the primary focus of the piece. The name of the piece itself comes from a comment he left on my Instagram post featuring the work.
