2nd Prize project "ISOLA"
The Isola bed captures various moments of a day in a high-end craftwork, revealing a new typology of furniture that can be seen as a piece of architecture. As privacy is essential when comes the night, Isola is composed of a two sided leather headboard that plays a central part in the space layout. One side is dedicated to the bed, the other is open to the user’s choice : occasional desk, vanity table, dressing area, ... Its generous height acts like a screen, keeping things clear from view for a serene bed time, while its padding helps softening the sounds around.
