La Clairvoyance exhibition
About project
This is my conceptual architecture project talking about what is love in my opinion. The whole idea is about the perception of love which is developed through time just like a famous painting by a Belgium surrealist, Rene Magritte, La Clairvoyance.
Each part has its own story. It will be told by me with different ages and mindsets. The story is not about only the past but it will provide what will happen in the future either. This conceptual project is planned to be held in Mælifell mountain, south Iceland. Some part will be held again in Bangkok, Thailand. This project uses Art-deco and Brutalism styles to represent the perception for the visitor, contrasting the love and brutality of the design and presenting similarity of both styles.

Shine on your crazy diamond.
When you love someone in the wrong way too much, it starts breaking others' mental health. I used to bully a transgender friend of mine back in elementary school just to impressed my boys, showing how cool I was. They were like my best friends at that time, we did silly pranks together, messing around with other friends and those silly things just went too far. At that time we never think of it. One day I was teaming up with a bullied transgender, he was so nice to be considered I bullied him that hard till we had a chat. Our conversation just made me speechless. He ignored my pride and behavior and kept focusing on his happiness and true friends, no matter how hard his mental health was offended, he was just sitting there, supported by the others and shining an aura of strength. Eventually, it makes me think, why I don't have this kind of positive relationship, the one that supports you when you are in despair, not the one that incites you into a fight. So this entrance is built as a monument to remind anyone about the story when enter this conceptual structure, the story of a strong one that just shines like a crazy diamond.
Chapel of Solei
Family conflict is very ordinary, especially with a teenager. I have already passed that moment. It was so bad that we barely talk or eat together. Growing up with that terrible time was not a good experience and it solved all started when you don't talk. My parents' way of love, care, and protection sometimes misunderstood my 14 years old mindset, so I answered them in silence. The Chapel of Solei is conceivably made to let all of the conflicts be solved by sitting and start talking.
City of Stars
This part is inspired by my girlfriend. We shared plenty of differences but we are still a wonderful couple. The funny thing is when we are not into others' interests, we have a lot to learn, sometimes it's a drag but sometimes it's just so fun. This zone is named after her favorite song in her favorite movie, City of Stars from Lalaland, the movie that we never finish watching together. City of Stars is a part that will tell you about what is the most important thing to focus on in a relationship. The Similarity is not always the answer. It's about open-mindedness, how deep do you want to learn about your partner. The argument is just too ordinary, just calm down and work it out together.

This zone is designed to be outdoor. The floor can be adjusted from a seat into a flat surface for a dance floor to dance just like what every character in Lalaland does. At night, there will be a lot of stars in the sky showing the beauty of nature mixing with Art-Deco and Brutalism architecture just like the city of stars.
Citadel of hand
This conceptual monument represents a half-opened human hand. The meaning is "Open to give and open to receive," a word I use to maintain our unstable relationship, inspired by Le Corbusier's sculpture in Chandigarh. If you get a nice treat, make sure you do the same way with others you love.
Corridor of chance
This is an exit of a conceptual love exhibition. Everyone has to pass the small door frame under the Art-deco structure. This represents the end of a relationship. Even if you are not breaking up or back to be a stranger to each other again but one day you and your couple will pass away from this world, returning to mother earth and there is nothing you can do but remember all those good old days which both of you have spent together and never worry about all those decisions because they are all perfect. Maybe if heaven exists, you and your lover might see each other again and this time it last forever.
Shine on your crazy diamond and Chapel of Solei are designed based on Brise solei design which presents avoiding direct sunlight into a building result in reducing heat and making ventilation far better. Both of them will be used as public space in Thailand.

Shine on your crazy diamond will be held near malls like Siam Paragon or Samyarn Midtown since this part is talking about bullying in teenagers so I hope this project can support those who are bullied and stop that awful behavior.

Chapel of Solei will be held in the park since jogging together with family is the best chance to clear out all of the stirs between the family. Besides, ventilation and shading will cool them down making the conversation much softer.
Thank you for all of your attention.
