New Material Development - Bio waste
The project aims to develop a sustainable and innovative material from potato peels and food waste, with the objective of reducing environmental impact, promoting food waste reduction, and creating valuable applications in various industries.
Objectives:
- Research and analyze the chemical composition of potato peels and other food waste materials to identify potential properties for material development.
- Experiment with various processing techniques, such as fermentation, enzymatic treatment, and bioconversion, to transform extracted components into functional and durable materials.
- Explore potential applications of the sustainable materials in industries such as packaging, storing etc.
