Garance Doré, the original fashion blogger extraordinaire, wanted to shift her fashion- and lifestyle platform Atelier Doré to a more mature version of itself — We Are Doré, to match the phase of life Garance and her audience were in. The refined branding had to infuse the more serious life subjects she wanted to discuss on the platform, as well as the stylishness of Garance. 

The brand identity builds upon Garance’s personality and creates a system infused with earthy, deep color. The logotype was drawn in the vein of French New Wave typography, inspired by the imperfectly cut and spaced forms from the opening credits of Jean Luc Godard films. The color system is earthy, feminine, and ever-changing, complemented by classical typography with modernist accoutrements.
