SZAMOT
Restaurant in the heart of Warsaw that will definitely grab your heart.
Concept started by a group of friends who likes to travel, share good memories and loves food. In the strict city center, surrounded by couple of restaurants stands the Szamot. Italian fusion cusine with combination of both traditional and gourmet vibes. We have decided to go with the Emilia-Romagna industrial style as a foundation of the project and on top of that create a very modern and colorful visual language that will stand out on the streets.

We balanced the direction of the brand between tradition, style and modernism - both Polish and Italian. We took the classic-style elements like street and window signage, industrial logos, street advertisements from Emilia-Romagna (all from around 1960s) and mixed it with more contemporary approach to the design. This way the visual communication goes in pair with the restaurant food philosophy. A bit of old and a bit of new.
Colors are the key. We mixed muted palette of sand, bread and semolina with vibrant blues, reds, greens and pink.
We have built a warm visual direction that is not intimidating for the customers to give them a more home-like, casual experiance.
