Personal branding for Widakk Design Studio.
It's nice to be your own client from time to time. As I want to be more involved in the production part of the job and not just design, last year I decided to create something for myself. Something that will have a physical shape. The result is this beautiful little wooden desk box. Fun part about this project is that I needed to create few designs and therefore develop my own branding further more. I decided to create an coat of arms type of design around my logo.
"Knight Without a Lord" is a warrior who is free to offer his lance to anyone he chooses. If he doesn't serve to any lord, his lance is free. This is the origin of the word: Freelancer. Instead of lance or sword, nowadays we offer our pen and the skill that goes with it. But, the freedom to choose who to serve remains the same. Freedom, Honor and Devotion are the three principles that follows such knight, wherever he decides to roam.
