To attract new customers and to make the banking process more convenient to its existing customers,
Cargills Bank introduced the New Digital Onboarding Process, where customers can open a Bank Account
digitally with a few simple steps, never having to step foot to a branch. This convenient, cost effective and efficient feature had to be communicated to the masses in an eye catching way. We decided to make this fun and engaging using colloquial sayings, to appeal to the TG. The sinhalese idiom 'Kaju Kanawa Wagey' which translates to 'as easy as eating cashews' was used in a creative way as the campaign line, to describe the ease of opening a bank account with Cargills. 'It is a piece of cake' & 'Summa alva sapiduvathu pola' (Just like having Sweet Alva) were the English & Tamil counterparts. A Fun & engaging tone of voice was used throughout the campaign and this was well complimented by the visual look and feel as well.
