The Compliment Campaign

The goal of The Compliment Campaign is to improve the overall mindset in America. The Compliment Campaign will encourage participants to compliment when they feel compelled and not hold back for fear of being awkward. Compliments increase confidence, confidence increases happiness, and a happy life is a healthy life.
Posters will be printed 18in X 24in. They will be distributed to schools, workplaces, gyms, and other facilities responsible for culminating community.

Print Copy:
“It’s all about the adjectives. The right compliment can make someone’s day. Don’t be shy! Send compliments or share your compliment stories at thecomplimentcampaign.com”
Magazine pieces will be printed differently than the typical magazine spread. The reader will first see a completely white page with the exception of the compliment. The second half of the ad will be printed, not on the back side but on the page after that so that the reader sees the second half of the ad right away. (Example below)
The Compliment Campaign Website will open with a short animation featuring an array of adjectives that could be used in a compliment. The words will move into the stage area and remain there as the pop up box appears.

Here the users will be able to enter and send a compliment, check out success stories, and learn about the campaign.
The Compliment Wall will be a portable instillation that moves from office buildings to schools. The Compliment Wall will create a tighter community in these places by allowing the participants thoughts about each other be heard.

To use the Compliment Wall participants will send text messages with their compliments to the number associated with that specific location. The compliments will then be shown on the screen anonymously. Knowing your colleagues and friends appreciate you is sure to brighten your day, and create a close knit community. The texting system will include filters to eliminate potentially hurtful comments should someone choose to misuse the board.
The Official Compliment Forms will be another form of community building should your school or workplace not be able to have the Compliment Board installed.

These compliment forms can be filled out and left on the recipients desk, in their locker, etc. These notes are designed to be left anonymously though there is certainly room for a signature and a personal note at the bottom.
