The Sugar Shack by Ernie Barns. Famously used as Marvin Gaye's album cover in "I Want You" and also shown in the television sitcom "Good Times". Barns painted in a Neo-Mannerist style which the subjects are elongated to show energy and movement. 

I personally enjoy looking at this painting mainly because it shows a great time. The colors are vibrant but he ensures that they do not clash with one another. The details are incredible when looking at the rafters and even the shadows on the dance floor.
