2022 marks the first year that both of my boys are in Cub Scouts together.  We had to step it up and bring two designs this year, and these may be my favorite so far.  

My oldest wanted to stick with the traditional route of racecar and used a drag car as his inspiration.  His car features a two toned metallic paint job along with 3D printed:  supercharged engine, side exhaust and spoiler.

The youngest, being super excited, wanted to do something unique for his first race.  After brainstorming for a few days, we settled on a cartoonish submarine design.  He specifically thinks it looks like a bus from the Sponge Bob cartoon.  I am not so sure about the cartoon reference, but I still enjoy it.  For a special addition, we incorporated a couple of Legos for the periscope and the spinning propeller.
