Cistus [One of the five knights of the Tenacious Rain]

Design process

This is the first sketch where i had a hood with eyes and ears in mind, also the idea of this entity being a knight was implemented here. I liked this idea so much i decided to turn it into a full character which will be one of the main characters in my Tenacious Rain story.

This is a doodle canvas i was doodling on one evening and brought back the hood with eyes and ears, i started playing around with the design more and gave it a mask, a rather odd looking one which grabbed my attention, the one with the cat ears :>

Here i was turning it more and more to a full character design

This is the design i came up with but i decided to stick with the stronger shapes within the previous refined sketch.

This is the final design, rendering is the only thing left to do :}
