Teaching 2: Transitioning to Three-Dimensions
2D and 3D space is inextricably related; one is meaningless without the other. For instance, capturing 3D surface contours by using a 2D grid is a time-tested method of enhancing this valuable realization. Personal association with the objects being investigated, again, emotionally binds a student with their created piece!
