Introduction
The Ricoh Company, is a Japanese multinational imaging and electronics company. For more than 80 years, Ricoh has been driving innovation and is a leading provider of document management solutions, IT services, commercial and industrial printing, digital cameras, and industrial systems. 

Headquartered in Tokyo, Ricoh Group operates in approximately 200 countries and regions. In the financial year ended March 2018, Ricoh Group had worldwide sales of 2,063 billion yen (approx. 19.4 billion USD).
The TASK
Ricoh Europe has been on a transformation from providers of hardware to full service provider of full business solutions – including a wide range of digital services and products. 

We where given the task to update the structure, content and design of the website to better reflect this transformation as well as creating a visual expression that made Ricoh Europe stand out in the sea of sameness of the industry.
Webpage prior to redesign
THE SOLUTION
In cooperation with Ricoh we defined a new structure, grid and design for the home page. We also defined more dynamic and flexible components that ease the daily work of the Ricoh marketing responsible. 
The new design has been implemented on the Business Area section of the page, the rest of the site will be converted to the new design in the following years. 
New header with fast track links to the most visited pages on the site
To guide the visitor better on the site, the mega menu was updated to feature small descriptions of the business area
We introduced a new consistent illustration style to lend the content an editorial style. The illustrations also work as an differentiation in the market and can help explain complex issues.
