I am glad to share a company naming and branding project our studio worked on in the spring of 2018. We were helping our new client rename and rebrand their company, a top-quality custom kitchen cabinetry manufacturer. We developed a Scandinavian feel and vision based on their products' new direction for design and style. After research and numerous brainstorming sessions, one candidate stood out – sköna. Skön means comfortable, pleasant or beautiful in the Swedish language, so that the name can contain two concepts: looking nice and being comfortable at the same time.
There were two wordmark treatments proposed for different applications.
