Fresh.T Turntables
'Fresh.T Turntables' is a catalogue of make-believe turntables by 'Fresh.T', otherwise known as Tim Easley.
For this project I designed and illustrated a set of make-believe portable turntables, as well as some branding around the company 'Fresh.T Enterprises Inc', including a logo, business cards, stickers, slipmats, and badges, to make the company seem as real as possible. Which it is. Or isn't.
I also produced a 7" flexi disc with a track called 'Buy A Turntable' that comes with the book, featuring myself (as 'Fresh.T') producing the beats, rapping, beat-boxing, and scratching. Scroll down for a video with the music! A make-believe (but entirely real) record label called 'Fresh.T Records' was also created to release the 7" flexi disc on, and is searchable on Discogs, along with a discography for 'Fresh.T'.
Seeing as the turntables in the book are make-believe, they're both real and not real at the same time - you're quite welcome to enquire about buying a make-believe turntable from the catalogue if you wish, but you won't receive a physical product, as none of the products are real, even though they are.
