Abandoned, untethered, but not unloved

Today, the city of Saigon is dotted by hundreds of abandoned, pre-war buildings: brutalist timestamps of a circa 1960s Viet Nam. With restoration often substituted for newer development projects, most of these buildings stay vacant, months away from being totally (er)razed. A few weeks ago I scampered (rd. shamelessly trespassed) through one such abandoned building: a forlorn, mustard yellow old school. Despite the dust and disrepair, it's soviet-spawned floors were juxtaposed with pockets of organic, urban love - young weeds & shrubbery interspersed by cheeky, contemporary graffiti.
