THE SIGN OF THE SURFACE

Imprints on our body.
Whether temporary or permanent they reflect us and our acts. We cannot “undress” them, our body unwillingly keeps these wounds and minor faults on its surface. Our body ages with us. I used the body’s medium character to set a parallel with another transmitting surface, the image. With the process of copying which resulted a gradual photo destruction I was able to handle these bodymarks as pure visual elements, depriving their meanings with lack or surplus. This way the pixels gradually reduce to black or white until the surgical scar disappeares, or the bald head gets hairy again.
