Acumed Studio - Video Production and Editing
To support marketing and educational strategies I designed and oversaw completion of our in-house video production studio in 2019. My team hosts nearly a 100 filming events yearly, focusing on medical education content with surgeon KOL’s and Product Managers.
The project began as a way to drive our educational content outside of our in-person classroom training to online spaces. With the thought to cover:

Building the Space
I was given a roughly 500 sq foot storage area to take over and turn into a working production studio. Our budget did not allow the use of contracted interior designers or major architectural changes.
I personally designed elevations, rough architectural layouts, and modular furnishing designs for the space. Knowing the size constraints, as well as the needs of the space led me to movable furniture and set pieces.
The final studio build included an amazing trio of set pieces created by: Les Foster and Team at OBD Custom. I was supported in this effort by RoAnna Savage, who handled other furnishing, concepting, and interior design; and Matt Osborne, who was a fantastic resource for project timelines and contractor relationships.
Video Work Examples
The Studio team works with stakeholders throughout our company to create compelling content that aligns with business needs. We focus on educational interview, simulated surgical techniques, live surgery, and product training. We are often tasked with on location live and recorded video production.

Acumed Forearm Fracture Solutions includes plating and rodding systems with a range of diaphyseal radius and ulna fracture treatment options. By combining midshaft plates and nails for the radius and ulna, Acumed offers multiple surgical options for fractures, fusions, and osteotomies of the forearm, all in one tray. Product Manager Victoria Lauren highlights the system’s key features.
