"14th" Project, Laleh Complex
Interior Architect: Zahra Asli
Project Area: 190 sq. m
Project Year: 2020
Location: Tehran, Iran
The project at hand is a renovation endeavor situated in the northern region of Tehran, boasting a stunning view. The original layout comprised of a single room, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room, which unfortunately lacked adequate access to natural light. Despite the presence of a large terrace spanning an area of 100 square feet, the overall layout was unimpressive. As a result, we opted to demolish the non-load-bearing walls in order to create an open and luminous space that would take advantage of the breathtaking view.

The new and improved design includes a master bedroom, complete with an en-suite bathroom and a walk-in closet. Additionally, we have incorporated a separate toilet, a modern kitchen with an island, and a spacious living room, each of which is separated by glass partitions. By doing so, we have not only improved the overall flow and accessibility of the space but have also maximized the view, allowing natural light to filter through the entire living area.
