In April of 2020, I began the 100 days project on instagram. Each day, I used a photograph I made and transformed it into a watercolor. In these ten images, we see a range of subject matter—interior, portrait, landscape. I especially wanted to highlight some of the weather in our area and its effect on the architecture. Color and texture were in focus in many of these.

Although I had made this image years earlier, 2020 brought a lot of focus to our nation's police forces. For good or ill, right or left, the police in our cities might never be the same again after this year.

Overlaps in Cincinnati abound. Here we see how Mt. Adams blends right into downtown by a trick of the eye. Brownstones appear right in front of skyscrapers and Proctor & Gambles' headquarters. Walking them would be a different story.
