This project is a set of 10 postcards that are meant to spread awareness of harmful the meat and fish industry can be. The concept would be you would donate money to the F.A.R.M. (Farm Animal Rights Movement) and they would send a set of postcards to you in return. You could then send those postcards with personal messages on them to friends and families to help spread awareness.

The front has an image of the animal product that we consume or see on the shelf daily. The blank spot on the front is where you could write a message where the food label would be. The back of the postcards have images of the animals that are used to create the products to try tell the viewer that these aren't just products on the shelf but they are living creatures. The "Farming Facts" is an appropriation of a nutrition facts label again to try and connect that products we consume to  the effects on animals it may have.

I choose this project because as a vegetarian for nearly 10 years I am very passionate about helping animals in anyway that I can. I researched an organization that helps out farm animals specifically to try and create this for an organization I can stand by. F.A.R.M is a real organization that I choose to incorporate into my design. The qr code provides a call to action, it takes you to their website for more information or to donate.
