Settled by immigrants some 200 years ago, the city of Evansville is situated along a gentle horseshoe bend on the Ohio River. The site, located at the corner of Adams and 2nd street, Haynie's Corner is historically significant. A modern adaptation of the historical vernacular was chosen for the street level, and the river’s inherent curves drove the design’s dynamic roof. The resulting structure is one that works amongst it’s surrounding historical buildings as well as providing unique and bold perspectives when occupying the area.
