"Samudra Manthan" or "Churning of the Ocean" is a print which reminds us of the Hindu mythological tale. The gods and demons are on either side of the mountain and using a snake named Vasuki to churn the potion for immortality. The question is, Who gets to drink the potion ? The gods or demons?
Ofcourse, the gods get to have it !
Don't miss the squirrel onlooker on Vasuki's head.
This etching with subtle blue undertones is reminiscent of the Tug-of-war that took place in the ocean
