I'm really passionate about our ancient Egyptian heritage and i find myself depicting that in my paintings , drawings and illustrations  frequently .visioning this piece in a dream in my sleep brought too much excitement that I couldn't wait to start working on it. maybe we've all seen ancient Egyptian paintings and reliefs depicting people making significantly unique  gestures as this one which is the praying gesture and sometimes depicted in later Coptic eras as mourning gesture .
