Based on the 2 century old best-selling Arabic story series "Kalila wa Demna", based on the Indian "Panchatantra", which were intertwined stories with animals, containing morals and life advice for kids and grown ups.
This is a passion project made by us 3 brothers, and voiced by our late beloved grand mother.
We started the process by collecting references, from ancient book drawings and styles, while aiming to create something new, that matches our different styles.
Next we created the storyboards
And from that, we started Illustrating the characters and scenes, which were all oil hand paintings, that were later digitized, rigged and animated.
Finally, animation and compositing!
