Filmmaking principles
Filmmaking principles for Instructional Design consisted of: Storyboarding, scripting for voiceovers, revising video through the editing process is what I will continue to develop and master as an Instructional Designer. Using the compression techniques I've learned will ensure my delivery process will look as professional to the original file as possible. I was able to complete the video with the completed crane by consolidating some of the clips. It helped a great deal.

I learned that the angles and backgrounds of shooting videos are very important to focus the viewer on exactly what I need them to see or learn from instruction. From the reading I want everything to correlate from the story in the beginning. The music I chose was relaxing but still engaging enough to enhance the instruction.

The storyboard concept helped keep my creative process in perspective and focus on what was needed instead of what I felt would be interesting. I did however use the storyboard to change or add ideas but it went in the correct sequence order or the instruction that I set out to convey. The planning phase element worked really well and I will continue to use that process for future video instructional projects. It really helps put your ideas for video shooting in a storyboard format, to maximize the use of time.
