國際上針對能源系統管制，以及如何面對氣候變遷以及化石燃料枯竭，打造更具有環境效益的未來發展路徑，是全球重要議題。
全球而言，仍有1/3人口無法使用電力，但已開發國家卻耗用了過多的資源。因此在推動能源革命的過程中，亦須改善全球使用能源上的不平等情形。
When facing the arguement of nuclear power, how to face climate change and the depletion of fossil fuels are also seeking the best of both worlds. How to create a path that is more beneficial to the environment is an important global issue.
能源的把關與應用，是每個人的責任，也和生活息息相關，地球上的資源並不是取之不盡的，否則有一天會因能源的過度使用而使地球失去應有的平衡。玩家可以透過卡牌了解到全球能源/再生能源資訊、能源本身的應用，以及人類使用能源對環境的衝擊。
在遊玩的過程中了解到的事物都是一體兩面的，如何在擺放以及移動中取得地球的平衡是玩家需要學習的。
Earth Overshoot uses a simple balance game as the main rule. The easy-to-understand game rules make it easier for players to enjoy the game. Through the game, the users understand the importance of energy balance and let players know that all energy is in the process of playing. The two sides of the whole have their own advantages and disadvantages, and the application of various energy sources will also affect each other. How to learn and choose in the process is an important topic for players.

1.其中一位玩家先抽取卡牌
2.根據卡牌上的指令做出相對應動作
3.直至一位玩家在擺放或拿取的過程中使地球傾倒或積木掉落，遊戲結束
