"Viaggio nel cratere"

The aim of a visual book is to represent the content of the text before reading it.
The book tells about villages of south of Italy affected by earthquake during 1980.
The book tells about villages of south of Italy affected by earthquake during 1980.
The common theme is "the silence you can hear".
To represent silence with images I decided to create a flipbook.
Flipping the book, pages comes to life to create a sort of silent film.
The scene represent a walk around a village, "an ugly and desert village, cats are more than villagers".
The picture of the flipbook are taken with analogic film, using Lomokino camera.
