Pair of sunburst mirrors, £575, from Lorfords.
I often go to Lorfords for antiques and antique decorative items for my clients. This pair of sunburst mirrors they currently have are so decorative, and being a pair they’d look fantastic either side of a doorway in a hall.

Cabinet on stand “Flora” model 852 designed by Josef Frank for Svenskt Tenn, price on application, from Modernity.
We saw this cabinet by Josef Frank in the Modernity showroom in Notting Hill and instantly fell in love! Josef used hand coloured botanical paper prints from the Carl Lindman’s book Bilder ur Nordens Flora, which he delicately applied to the mahogany front. The end result is stunning. It would work beautifully as a drinks cabinet.

Dining table, €7,591, from Dirk van der Kooij.
I’m totally hooked on this amazingly beautiful table, which is made from recycled fridge interiors. Each one is different to the next. We recently specified it in a formal country house dining room - it worked as a wonderful foil to the wood panelling.

Rattan flush mount, £128, from Anthropologie.

I have three high spot lights in my double height living room – I’d love to change the spots to three of these ceiling mounted lights. I’ve been looking for something appropriate yet affordable for a while and these are perfect, the repetition of three in a row would add a great impact to the space, and a much more interesting solution to boring spots. I love the scale of them.

Flora large taper candle holder, from £22, from Anthropologie.

Handwoven rattan jam carry, £55, from OKA.
I am sure if I had this jam carry in my life, I would feel all the more put together, especially at our somewhat chaotic breakfast table. Banish those sticky lids!

Pair of early 19th century Swedish Folk Art chairs, £1,250, from Anton&K Antiques.
Pieces of a vernacular or primitive style always catch my eye – there is such character in these designs and make such an impact in a room, but not in a showy way, which, for me, brings a particularly lovely energy to a house – much needed a ‘box fresh’ project. These chairs have characteristic worn patina and a charm which comes from vernacular or folksy furniture, but the designs and forms are very unusual and original. There is a wonderful sense of the handmade in these humble chairs. I could see these as a fantastic side chair in a bathroom, contrasting in a playful way with marble and metal finishes.
