The Museum of Digital Art in Zurich opened a pitch to redesign their corporate design as a competition under the students of SfGZ. My mission was to focus on a visual solution for the museums core passion. CODE. The cellular automata “Game of Life” worked out to fit as a perfect solution. devised by the mathematician John Conway in 1970 the Game of Life simulates in a somewhat abstract way a form of life with a simple ruleset in binary code. The Game of Life serves as base for the new corporate Identity for the MuDA and truly shows “the beauty of code and the connections between algorithms, data and society.” ­-MuDA.

Unfortunately the MuDA was forced to close its doors due to the Corona Pandemic.
