1. for the pink and white plaid, I chose these colors in memory of my friend that passed away last week. Her favorite color was pink and I decided to use bright colors, uneven sizes, and an uneven proportion to commemorate her bright personality and loving nature. 

2. For the red, black, and white plaid, I chose these colors because they were the colors on a skirt that I had worn on a city trip with my friends. This was a really enjoyable trip for me so I decided to display that through my work.

3. For the purple, white, and yellow plaid, I also chose these colors in memory of my friend that had passed away. The background purple represents one of her favorite colors. The white represents the color of angel wings and the yellow represents the color of a halo. I made everything even and proportionate to commemorate her life.
