Bedside Table

Well, flipping furniture is actually a rather simple and creative process. You find a piece of nice quality furniture that is sold for cheap (or found for free) that you can paint, re-stain or redesign and sell. It’s always a challenge, and it’s different every single time.

On these bedside tables , I chose to change the base, add new handles and finish with an ultra-matte finish. I started by cutting and removing the base. I fixed all the small defects with wood filler. I covered the holes in the old handles and then the body and drawers of the chests were carefully sanded. All parts were primed before being spray-painted with a charcoal colour and chalky finish paint. The new base in pine wood, designed to fit the bedside tables, was fixed to the main body. To finish off, new handles were added to match the pine base finish.

An example of how old/used furniture can be turned into new pieces ready to use again, with a simple and modern renovated look.
