Honeywell - Internal Communications Campaign

Honeywell Brief
The multinational organization had a whole Code of Conduct manual for employees. But as is the challenge with all thick manuals, it didn't get the necessary attention. The company's Internal Communications department sought an innovative way of communicating to employees to find out about the compliance policies and follow them for the benefit of the company as well as themselves, without being preachy.
"Live By Honeywellism"
The idea was born from the insight- we may not sincerely follow the law, but we religiously follow our cultures. This thought sparked an attempt to turn the work culture at Honeywell into an actual 'culture'- Honeywellism.

The communication was crafted in the fashion of age-old cultural proverbs, which did not preach to the employees to behave in a certain way, but instead, advised about the best ways they can be part of this 'culture' and the enterprise at large.

Under this campaign, each guideline from the compliance handbook would function as a piece of advice, rather than a rule, thereby making it easy to remember without sounding preachy.
