Introduction:
The site is aimed at students passing out from school and college to help them take the right decision about their higher education. HTCampus.com provides the students with a comprehensive, updated and reliable information on over 30000+ colleges across various courses and streams. The site also has certain value added tools for students like the Future Salary Calculator, which helps the student map out his earnings after pursuing a particular course, a unique compare colleges feature and access to expert advice.
Idea:
HTCampus is a website which have over 30K+ colleges and their information but discoverability is too low. So redesigned the content and structure for more visibility with enhanced user experience keeping the mobile first dimension.
Problem:
- Weak search and search results
- Less upfront information which are necessary as deciding elements
- Old style theme which is not refreshing according to user base
- High bounce rates and low leads
Solution:
- Enhanced search rearch results to include relavent information
- Trouble finding and perfect matches for colleges.
- Weak search option and no option to compare the search results
- Added different modules in same
- Personalised experience for logged-in users to show relevant content
Scope of work:
Our team created a new website with a modular structure, which enables the HTCampus to function as a platform for multiple services. From the customer’s perspective, the user can find all of their information from one place, instead of multiple services with inconsistent user experience.
Design methods used during the project included journey mapping, facilitating workshops, user interviewing, usability testing, UI/UX design and prototyping solutions.
