MB Infecto - Brand Design

I EMPODE PATIENTS TO IMPROVE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE.
Dr. Michelle Boni is an infectious disease physician, specializing in quality of health and integrative medicine, and for her, her greatest mission is to empower patients to improve their quality of life, through empathy and humanized care.

She seeks to be witty and relaxed, providing her care with lightness to counteract the very serious illnesses her patients are facing.
With extensive experience in consulting and consulting, Dr. Michelle sought me out to develop the visual identity of her personal brand, MB Infecto.

She needed something that could convey the image of a respected and trusted professional, which she is, with her friendly and humanized approach—"I want a visual identity for my company that matches me and my way of serving my patients."

Throughout the process, my search was for something that was light, with a certain tone of relaxation, but that did not lose the seriousness that the subject of infectology needs to communicate with its audience.

The Briefing and my research pointed out that MB Infecto needed a design that communicated the essence of
A SENTIMENTAL, CREATIVE, HUMAN, FRIENDLY, AND SERIOUS BRAND.
THE DNA

Infections are typically caused by pathogens such as prions, viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites.

Thinking of something that could be common between us and these biological agents, or at least part of them, I arrived at DNA, responsible for storing and transmitting genetic information.

Furthermore, within the integrative approach, epigenetics is considered a lot, which talks about the influence of lifestyle on the expression of some genes and its correlation with diseases.

The result was a light and somewhat informal symbol, which promotes approximation, referring to the relationship of integrative medicine.
THE EMOJIS

To give the brand a human, friendly, and even relaxed air, the DNA symbol is formed by two emojis, which reinforce the importance of the relationship between the patient and the health professional, the essence of Integrative Medicine.

THE MONOGRAM

The initials MB are implicitly part of the symbol design in the negative spaces of emojis.

THE COLORS

Moving away from the colors used for brands in the medical field, I tried to convey feelings that would speak directly to these people who are facing such delicate problems, such as infections.

At the same time, this color palette needed to say that the brand is and the essence of Dr. Michelle.
The Deep Jungle Green (Green) is related to health, healing, hope, calm, and balance. While Raw Sienna (yellow) conveys light, optimism, joy, creativity, and wisdom.

The result is harmonious and warm colors.
THE PATTERN

A repeating pattern is very useful to complement the composition of graphic pieces, giving even more personality to the brand.

The MB Infecto pattern was also inspired by DNA, forming a light and creative pattern.
