Deezer is a music streaming service. It allows users to listen to music content from record labels on various devices online or offline. Created in Paris, France in 2007, Deezer currently has +73 million licensed tracks in its library, with over 30,000 radio channels and tens of thousands of podcasts. 14 million Monthly Active Users and 7 million paid subscribers (as of January 2019). The service is available for Web, Android, iOS, Mac OS and Windows.

Not long after my Apple Music Case Study/Redesign Concept late 2018, I accepted a position at Deezer at a strategic time when a rebranding was just getting started. This might be the most exciting time for a designer to join a company. Here was the menu: New logotype, typography, color palette, campaigns, web pages and microsites, app stores screens, mobile and desktop app interfaces, thousands of in-app curated playlists covers, widgets, OOH campaigns, TV ads, Original Productions branding, tote bags, pens, coffee cups, signage and I could keep going for a while...

When I joined, Deezer was a worldwide company with a very strong and functional tech column, every designer who joined the company at that time could see design improvements everywhere. Fun times. Here’s a bit of what happened for the past 2 years thanks to a team of passionate product designers.
